Perspective Plan of the College

 

The Institute’s Perspective Plan is briefly given below:

A) Physical infrastructure: The college has developed its long-term perspective plan

which includes: procurement of land for extension of building, mobilization of fund for increasing physical and academic facilities, sustainable development of physical infrastructure with increasing greenery, water and energy conservation.

B) Academic infrastructure: The Institution has set its goals for holistic development of its students which contains- introduction of new academic programmes and certificate courses, increase text and reference books & journals for library, extension of ICT and other facilities for better learning experience of the students.

The on-going journey of the institution is driven and directed by a well-drafted Strategic Plan in phased manner which evolved through deliberations and engagements with all its stakeholders, academicians and experts. Some of the important institutional strategic plans which were effectively implemented is 0.47 acres of procurement of land, gradual mobilization of funds from UGC, Government of West Bengal, MPLAD & BEUP and Rashtriya Ucchatar Shiksha Abhiyan (RUSA). The RUSA authority has sanctioned Rs. 2.00 crores for the college (received only Rs. 1.5 crores). This fund has been utilized for the creation of new facilities, for the renovation/upgradation of existing facilities, and for the procurement of state-of-the-art equipment/facilities.
